We are happy to announce that in the end of the month Leno Morfin starts a three months` expo tour in Northern Europe where his artwork will be shown along six different regions from Netherlands to Estonia.
In this special ocasion the beloved painter invites us to celebrate the beginning of his tour with a
fun fund-raising fiesta:

Expo and auction of paintings by Leno Morfin for the benefit of the new documentary film school in Puerto Vallarta –
TRINCHERA FILM SCHOOL.
The director of the Trinchera Film School, Esteban Uyarra will give a video presentation about the vision and objectives of this important project for the community of Puerto Vallarta and Mexico.
Leno Morfin is a very productive artist and has kept painting through all times, and in spite of the economical crisis and low period on market he still works as a full time artist. Leno has also been actively participating in the community of Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and elsewhere by donating his paintings to foundations and fund-raisers for different causes.

Leno goes to Northern Europe for an Expo Tour
Leno Morfin goes to an expo tour to Northern Europe from his present home in Puerto Vallarta
After exhibiting worldwide during the last 15 years and settling down to Puerto Vallarta only a year ago, Leno Morfin will now for the first time show his artwork in the galleries and museums of Northern Europe. The tour of three months begins by the end of May in Amsterdam and continues then in Estonia where the artist is expected to five different counties along the Baltic country. The expositions of the Mexican painter will be accompanied by several public events on Central-American culture, workshops and conferences, poetry and movie nights. Intercultural contacts and experiences on artwork will be exchanged between artists, gallerists and diplomats. Out of the 20 exhibited paintings some will stay in the host galleries as a memory of the artist`s visit. The tour will be covered by the local newspapers, radio and TV.

Leno Morfin was born July 10, 1954, in a little village of the Sierra Madre in Mexico. At the age of sixteen, his family immigrated to the United States. In 1994, Mr. Louis Durot discovered Leno`s art work in Chicago. Since then Leno has been exhibiting his paintings throughout the US and the world, in countries like China, France, Germany and Mexico among others.
With the exhibition “The Dreams to See” June 2009 Leno returned to Mexico and was well received in Puerto Vallarta where he found his present home. The expo at los Mangos Public Library invited to discover a new planet of dreams hidden into the powerful paintings. After a few smaller shows during the rainy season Leno left his public astonished at the colorful expo “Pasión por Vivir” in De Santos club where the passionate art of painting and gourmet was combined and the artist himself was got to know as “the man who paints as he loves, loves as he cooks and cooks as he paints”. Currently, Leno`s art can be found in the new art and design studio “Habitares” in Morelos Street downtown Vallarta, as well as in Patty Gallardo`s Gallery in the Romantic Zone, and at the Hotel des Artistes in Punta Mita.
